FACIT 4047 READER PUNCH
The compact and rugged design of the low-noise 60dB) Facit 4047 Reader/Punch combination, makes it ideal in both mobile and stationary NC or CNC applications. Communication parameters, automatic EIA/ISO/ASCII and Telex code conversions and input controls for NC and CNC tape handling are easily micro-processor controlled from the keyboard and display.
NC-equipment and host computer are integrated by means of two standard serial interfaces. The two-way, handshaking communication is optimized by a buffer with a capacity of more than 3,000 characters.
Punching is performed at a speed of 60 characters per second and reading at 120 characters per second. Both punching and reading speed can be selected from the keyboard on 4047.
