Welcome to the Wendover Page!
Welcome to where we live, Wendover, Nevada! Wendover is located 110 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah on Interstate 80 at the Nevada/Utah
stateline. Wendover is actual two communities: the older Wendover, Utah and the newer West Wendover, Nevada. The settlement of Wendover was
first conceived when the Western Pacific Railroad company was laying track across the Bonneville Salt Flats. Workers found a spring about 20 miles north of the route and recognized the possibility of piping water from the spring to the railroad. The point of contact of water and railroad is
present-day Wendover. The railroad and roundhouse were completed in 1907, and Wendover was born.

Today, Wendover is one of the choicest entertainment destinations in the western United States -- and most people have never heard of it. Click on
one of the items below to learn more about the history of Wendover or what Wendover is like today.
