Sydney's Modern Trams Without Advertising

After a lengthy absence, Sydney has trams running through the streets, albeit trams of modern standards and a shorter network. Sydney's tram network currently runs from Central station to Star City Casino and Wentworth Park. The line has recently been  extended to Lillyfield. The line is operated by Connex until the title of Metro Light Rail (originally Sydney Light Rail).

These photos are of Light Rail Vehicles (LRV's) in their original Sydney Light Rail colour scheme.

Even though the trams were working under the then new title of Metro Light Rail at the time of the photo, the station sign at Exhibition is still in the original Sydney Light Rail format and design. 18 September 1999.
After spending time painted as Thomas The Tank Engine in June/July, LRV 2105 appeared (surprisingly) in the original scheme with Metro Light Rail logos. There were sections of small imperfections in the paintwork due to previous liveries.
