Dianne Moran has worked with children and wildlife for 35 years as a naturalist/storyteller (20 yrs. at the St. Louis Zoo). She lives in the Mo. Ozark Mts. She says her great love of nature and a fascination with the past have enabled her to create numerous historical personas. She makes all of the "artifacts" for her Sacagawea, Bird Woman program and enjoys performing her Environmental/Historical programs throughout the Midwest. Dianne was honored to perform as a Civil War Scholar for the Missouri/Illinois Humanities CouncilsCivil War Chautauqua. She has produced numerous storytelling tapes and also performs for the Mo. Arts Council, and Young Audiences of St. Louis where she received their Program Award for artistic excellency and educational effectiveness.
