Pumpkin Seed Topper
Front reads:
"I hear that you've been playing tricks,
So listen - here's the deed:
I'm running short on candy treats,
So all you get is Pumpkin seeds"
Back Reads:
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
2 cups pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon salt
Rinse pumpkin seeds until pulp and strings are washed off. Boil seeds in salt water for 10 minutes. Dry seeds on paper towels. In medium bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, melted butter or margarine and salt. Add seeds. Stir until seeds are coated with mixture. Spread on baking sheet. Bake 1-2 hours at 225 degrees. Stir occasionally and watch for burning. Seeds should be crisp. Makes 2 cups.
NOTE: These taste best if you boil seeds first in salted water.

Autumn Wind
When autumn wind goes running

It gives the shadows dancing shoes,
It gives the bright leaves wings -

It curls the bonfire's tail of smoke
And shares a little whispered joke
With cornstalks who delight to prattle,

ORANGE for the leaves ad they come dancing down,
GREEN for the decorations appearing all over town.
YELLOW for the feathers on the turkey the children drew,
