plentiful in Hawaii.

trail.

the trail,

| Stay on marked trails. The grass on
the side of the
trail grows very slow, and is easily damaged.

| The trail starts inside the crater.
The trails on the
outer slopes are unsafe.

| Do not discard trash on trail. Don't
spoil the view
for others.

| There are no fees charged. One of
the few free
things in Hawaii.

| Tennis shoes work fine. Hike is
moderate ability
and 1.5 miles roundtrip.

Diamond Head. Bus #22 or #58 on Kuhio Avenue.
Ask driver to drop you off at Diamond Head.
