General information

SkyDancing UK hires out the Azogires Centre to workshop leaders to run their own groups. It is generally
the responsibility of the workshop leaders to find participants for their groups. However, we will run general advertisements for the centre and will pass on every inquiry for courses to the relevant workshop leader. We try
to aim for a minimum number of ten persons per workshop.

Course weeks

We hire the centre out on a weekly basis, from Tuesday afternoon to the morning of the following Tuesday.

Food

The Azogires staff will cater for breakfast every day, and for dinner on five days. This leaves lunch up to the groups themselves and two “free” evenings for dining out.

Accommodation

Accommodation consists of twin bedded rooms, and a number of double-bedded rooms for couples. There is room for up to 18 participants plus one or two workshop leaders.

Group room

The centre has a spacious group room with wooden floor and carpet available, ideal for working with groups up
to this size.

Cost

The total cost for food & accommodation as described above is £160 per person.
The minimum cost for the whole group is £1,600. If there are 10 participants or more, food & accommodation for one workshop leader is free.

Payment

A deposit of £160 has to be paid on booking, this is 10% of the minimum payment. Another deposit of £320 has to be paid three months prior to the week booked. These deposits are not refundable. The full balance due must be made two weeks before departure.

All cheques should be made payable to The Azogires Centre.

Liabilities

We do not accept liability for delays or changes caused by threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control, participants' medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holidays, loss of or damage to personal property of participants.

Travel details

In the normal holiday season from May to October, Charter flights are run from several airports in the UK to Chania in Crete. These charter flights and the returns usually are on Tuesdays. We recommend hiring cars or taxis in order to get from Chania Airport to Azogires, the journey time of which is 1½ to 2 hours. We undertake to help with cheap flights and cars, so please phone us for details.
