[March 30, 2001] In an interview for BBC's Top Of The Pops, Irish singer David Gray named Sinéad as his dream duet partner:

            Q. Having worked with Kathy Burke, is there anyone you would like to duet with?
            DG. Not really. There are lots of people I’d like to work with but it’s not something I’ve given a lot of thought to. What normally
            happens with these things is that they come out of the blue. You haven’t thought about it and then you think "yeah ". There
            are some people with great voices. Sinéad O’Connor is a really obvious one and I’m sure there are loads more but I’m rather
            bad at remembering this sort of thing. Nina Simone or Tom Waits or someone like that would be brilliant.

[March 29, 2001 - Handed by Mandy] Apparently, Sinéad wrote a song with Indian composer Nitin Sawhney in 1999, but they didn't have time to record it, due to Sinéad's ordination. Here's more info on Sawhney.

[March 29, 2001 - Handed by dotmusic.com] The Ian Dury tribute album Brand New Boots And Panties is to be reased on April 9 by East Central One Records. The album is a re-recoring of Dury's 1977 original and features performances by an impressive array of stars including Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney, Shane McGowan and Sinéad. dotmusic.com has a new microsite for the album where you can listen to a clip of Sinéad's Wake Up And Make Love With Me and see a nice autographed picture. [March 26, 2001 - Handed by PK & Mandy] Sinéad has given support to the Irish Cancer Society's Daffodil Day Appeal by donating an original signed painting to the organization's online auction, which is the first on the Internet. Visit www.daffodilday.org to learn more about the appeal and bid on Sinéad's painting which is an illuminated representation of Psalm 1!

[March 25, 2001] Sinéad's appearance at Australian radio show Triple J on November 11, 2000 is now available through Universal Mother. [March 20, 2001 - Handed by Maura, Curly & Jesseca] Looks like Sinéad turned to William Butler Yeats once again. Following Troy and the poem in the sleeve of Universal Mother, Faith and Courage's The Lamb's Book Of Life features an excerpt from the poet.

            Here's the opening verse of The Lamb's Book Of Life:
            "Out of Ireland I have come
            Great hatred and little room
            Maimed us at the start
            And now home just breaks my heart"

           ...and here's the last verse from Yeats' Remorse For Intemperate Speech, a poem from his
       . book The Winding Stair And Other Poems, published 1933:

[March 8, 2001] Sinéad is headlining the Meteor Ireland Music Awards which is due to be held in Point Depot, Dublin on March 16. She will be performig along with Elton John, Ronan Keating, David Gray, Emmylou Harris, Ash, JJ72 and Morcheeba. [March 6, 2001 - Handed by Daniel] Ghostland is to release a new album this spring, on Instant Karma Records. The band is the project of Caroline Dale, John Reynolds and Justin Adams who recorded and toured with Sinéad a lot in the past. She appeared on their self-titled debut album, lending lead vocals on three songs. So it's a possiblity that she might turn up in this new one, too.

[March 4, 2001 - Handed by Kai Chai] Rolling Stone reports that much-anticipated John Lennon tribute album project is still being worked on. Among some other names, Sinéad has recorded a Lennon song for the album (Mind Games), but the release date is still uncertain. Click here for detailed info.

[March 3, 2001 - Handed by Kai Chai] A traditional Irish singer called Graham O'Callaghan has named his album after a Universal Mother song! Entitled In This Heart, the album is now out on Dragon Records. A commentary says: "The mood of the album is mellow which suits Graham’s voice and thoughtful interpretations. A quality debut."

[March 3, 2001 - Handed by Sean] Irish Star today reports that Sinéad has "given the most revealing interview ever." She is due to appear on an Irish religious program called Would You Believe on Thursday, March 15. The article goes on to say that she "allows the cameras inside her home which is decorated like a church with stained glass windows and religious statues and pictures in almost every room" and "viewers will also see her with her son Jake."
