Planning your Dream Wedding away from home can be both overwhelming and exciting. Many decisions are made when you plan your special day such as who will we invite, what will we serve, what will we wear and where will we get married? One detail, however, shouldn't be overlooked whether you are planning a grand affair here in Ontario, traveling across Canada or flying to an exotic location like the Caribbean or Mexico with only your closest family and friends. Your Wedding Day may be a lavish event or an intimate celebration but when it's all over and you wake up the next morning, your first thought will be - I wonder when we will get to see the photos! One complaint I find many couples have about Destination Weddings are the lack of photographed moments, poor quality prints and the high cost of images and digital negatives to bring back with you and treasure forever.

Beach Photos with Family & Friends Slideshow ~ Hard Cover Book Layout

Scott and I, along with about 45 or so guests traveled to Punta Cana in November 2007 to get married at the Majestic Colonial Hotel. It was amazing and we had such a great time; we wouldn't change a thing! Initially we had planned to use the hotel photographer, both Scott and I are pretty easy-going.
Our expectations of everything going
well and really organized with having a destination wedding weren't really high,
but the important thing was just that everyone have a great time
and that we get married! There was a change of plans though and we learned that
Jodi Laundry from Daydream Photography was going to be there with another
wedding party.
After getting in touch with Jodi and viewing her fantastic website we agreed to
have her take our pictures as well - this was one of the best decisions we made!
We underestimated how important it was to us, to have fabulous pictures and a
professional photographer to capture our wonderful memories. Jodi was so
organized and so professional. She
completely took control, which was something our large group of 47 people
needed! Looking back our day would have been completely
different without Jodi's expertise, she took wonderful pictures of our family,
group, and of course just the two of us. We're both so thankful
that we hired Jodi, and didn't end up cutting costs (which didn't actually end
up being much more) than going with the resort photographer.
Jodi, Scott and I both want to say thank you so much for being part of
our 'wedding week' we had a blast! The pictures are beautiful and we
couldn't be more happy with them. I would highly recommend Daydream Photography
to my friends and family!

Our wedding was at the Majestic
Colonial, located in Punta Cana. For Kevin and I, it was something we always
dreamed about doing and were lucky enough to have had the most romantic and
intimate wedding. When I first started planning my wedding, photography wasn't
in my budget. I figured that someone would take some pictures that we can later
duplicate! After some research, I came across an amazingly talented photographer
named Jodi. Once I saw her website and previous work she had done, I was SOLD!
After a few emails, it was very clear that I just had to have her!
Months before my wedding, she kept in touch, and touched base with me, which was
very nice and unexpected. The first time we actually met her was in Toronto,
the night before we left for Punta Cana! Once I met her, it felt like I knew her
for ages! She just is so caring and makes you feel so comfortable. In Punta
Cana, she was like family to us and all of our family and friends immediately
loved her. I can honestly say that she is the reason why my wedding turned out
so perfect! She went above and beyond my expectations. She took control and was
so organized! During the "wedding week", she also took candid pictures of us
just hanging out at the beach and pool. These memories are priceless, and she
captured the most amazing moments!
Once I returned from our trip and got our proofs, I was blown away at how
beautiful my pictures were! Kevin and I are NOT photogenic by any means, and she
did an amazing job making us feel comfortable and guided us though it all.
Their is no one else that could have made our day as special as she did. Today,
I can honestly say that I have a lasting friendship with Jodi, and can't thank
her enough for all her hard work!
Jodi, you are the most talented person I have ever met. Thanks to you, I have
amazing memories that I will cherish forever. I know that my wedding week
wouldn't have been the same without you. I highly recommend DayDream
Photography to everyone!!!

Details & Costs
Due to many negative reviews, comments, incidents, thefts and most recently the brutal attack on another photographer (in broad daylight on the beach) I will no longer be travelling to the Dominican Republic for Destination Weddings. I am happy to discuss weddings planned in other Caribbean Countries and locations.
All expenses including travel & taxes, accommodations, airport parking, basic travel insurance.
All travel arrangements and payments will be made by the client to their travel agent.
When possible, I may chose a 3/4 day trip option. Price will be based on a Single Room rate unless I take a travel companion at my cost,
then a double room rate will apply.
Basic Travel Insurance is required, but should you request Cancellation insurance, that will also be at your cost.
A $500.00 Deposit is required to book the event. Balance of the contract must be paid prior to the departure date.

Deposits and Payments are non-refundable & may not be transferred to another
couple.

If the Wedding Date or travel dates change for any reason, I can not guarantee
my availability for the new date(s) and any payments made on my behalf will be
your loss and no cash value towards future photography will be credited.

DayDream Photography is not responsible for poor weather conditions and does not
provide an alternative indoor facility or backdrops.

When Package coverage extends through the reception, dinner will be included for
the photographer and requests to be seated with the guests to optimize coverage.
*
Bridal Albums are not Leather and are provided based on availability.
*
An "Agreement Contract" will be reviewed and signed upon receipt of
deposit.

Credit Option Orders will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of receiving the order,
accept in the case of the custom photo books which can take up to 8 weeks.

DayDream Photography reserves the right to duplicate your images for advertising
purposes, unless requested otherwise in advance.
