...their name is Beyond Glory and their sound is metal--but not speed or death metal---think late 90's Queensryche with a female lead singer -a la Geoff Tate. Powerful vocals and a very tight backup of talented musicians--two amazing six string slingers, a god of thunder bassist holding down the bottom end, a steady stickman and vox that will have you thinking Slayer, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond and Judas Priest all got together and decided to create a new brainchild.

BEYOND GLORY-3 SONG DEMO
WELL, I must say Iwas impressed, an all out thrash/power metal attack with female vocals. The first song "ENEMY" starts off with an eerie dark slow picking, with haunting higher pitch moans over it....with the heavy guitars coming in. Then to a running riff with heavy chunking riff which makes me want to get in the pit again. The vocals kinda remind me of Dawn Crosby from FEAR OF GOD/DETENTE. I dig what they are doing. The song breaks down and allows for some slow powerful riffs with great flowing solo. then right back in your face with the power. Song 2 is "HOLISTIC EMBRACE" , It jumps in feet first heavy... and has chorus/bridge that are slower and inviting before it grabs you and kicks back in.I like the solo in this one it shreads and goes back and forth with slow powerful soloing. And I ain"t a guitar player but i believe they are called "sweeps" that are just impressive. Finally a band that solos again. Song 3 "FROM THE ASHES" starts off in the ballad/slow type song,with the eerie guitar. When the heavy guitars kick in and she starts letting the vocals flow .... i say WOW !!! I look forward to seeing this band live. The production seems a little rushed but over all it is decent. It sounds much better on a good stereo with a good EQ. Don"t get me wrong I have recorded before and this sounds better than any of the stuff I have done. If you get a chance to get this demo....please do!!!
I would like to get a copy of the lyrics, so I can read along. Her vocals are impressive in this world of the screamers !!!
