This is a new page that I have added in order to spread the word about the great LDS books you can get from Liahona Distributors! I have personally read two of them and found them to be very uplifting.
The author, William Partridge, writes in such a way that you know the characters intimately. In a fictional light, they become part of your family and friends. In Julie's Guitar for example, I laughed with the characters and I cried with them. The book helped me to think of ways I can reach out to others and make an effort to make someone else's life a little happier. Isn't that what good literature is about? Good books cause introspection and assist us in getting a little closer to our goal of becoming a Christ-like people.
Ye Have Done It Unto Me gives the same type of insights. In non-fiction form, "it helps the reader realize that we cannot remember the Savior and be His witnesses unless we are always ready to serve others." We have been asked to love our neighbors and to serve them. There are many different ways in which to serve. Brother Partridge sheds light on many of these opportunities.
