"Bill" William John Smith

This picture of "Bill" Smith was taken when he was about 10 years old outside a log house.                       A 1941 picture of Bill in his uniform before being shipped overseas to be a tail gunner in WW2 for the RCAF.                 Fern Ball, Bills wife, pinning on a medal on him. Fern says she was so nervous that her hands were shaking at the time. This photo would have been taken after Bill returned home from England at the end of WW2.
