Armageddon
JW's believe that they will remain here on earth during Armageddon, and that only 144,000 will go to heaven. In order to escape the horror and be protected from the battle, they will have to submit to the Watchtower Society whom they trust to be “God's Organization” on earth.. JW's are slaves of the Watchtower.
Contrary to their doctrine, in Revelation 14:14-16, we see the Harvest of the earth, the catching away of the saints going to heaven with Christ, and then Armageddon takes place, AFTER the rapture, during the wrath of God in Rev. 16:16. The saints return WITH Jesus who destroys the wicked at Armageddon in Rev. 19:14-15 as Jesus begins his 1,000 year reign on earth. If the JW is here for Armageddon, then they are the subjects of God's Wrath, not the saints of His mercy and love!
In truth, Armageddon is the battle where those left behind will gather to do war against Jesus Christ and the saints who return with Him. Click here for more detail on the Rapture!
In Section A. of the "BTD” it quotes "How we may survive" and then references Rev. 7:14 and speaks of those whom have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb. Yet to their error, in verse 15 (and Chap. 19:1) we find them in heaven before the throne of God serving him day and night...not on earth surviving the battleground of Armageddon.
Also in Sect A. it quotes "God fights, Using Son and angels" and references 2 Thess. 1:6-9 and Rev 19:11-16.
Yet in Zech. 14:3-4 it says that Jehovah Himself will stand upon the Mount of Olives (in Acts 1:11-12, we see that it is Jesus, when He returns that will stand upon the Mount of Olives).
Zech.14:5 says that Jehovah Himself will come with His holy ones. If you read Rev. 19:13-14, Jehovah is identified as Jesus coming with the saints (verse 8) Rev 7:9,13-l5 shows the 'great crowd' as those who are clothed in White. They are the saints. We see the same saints ruling with Christ for a thousand years (Rev. 20:4)
In Zech. 14:9.16-17 we see 'the King, Jehovah of Armies” on earth, ruling from Jerusalem and anyone who does not come to worship Him will have no rain.
SUMMARY: In Rev. 19:11-16 we know that it is speaking about Jesus, and we know that Zech- 14:3-5,9,16-17 is identified as Jehovah of Armies. There is no other conclusion except to identify that Jesus is Jehovah of Armies in Zech. 14! Armageddon is the battle where the wicked of the earth gather to do warfare against the Lord Jesus Christ and the saints as they return from the wedding banquet in heaven (Rev. 19). The ONLY way to escape being destroyed in this battle, is to bow your knee to Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord - Jehovah of Armies! (Phil. 2:9-11, Rom. 10:9-10)
