You must exercise faith in the NAME of Jesus! </div> <bR> <div> <U>Acts 7:59 </U><I><U>"</U></I><I>and they went on casting stones at Stephen as he made an appeal and said: </I><I><B>“LORD JESUS, RECEIVE MY SPIRIT</B></I><I>.”</I></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>THE 144,000</U></B></div> <bR> <div>     <B><U> The "BTD" says that "</U></B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#990080" FACE="Arial" ><B><U>heavenly life is limited to those in Christ's Body</U></B></FONT><B><U>"</U></B>. Let's go to <U>Eph 5:21-32</U> where the scripture is talking about the "CONGREGATION" (which is us) Verse 30 says <I>"because </I><I><B>WE ARE THE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY”.</B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B> </B></I>If you will study these verses carefully, you will see that WE are the "congregation" with no limit of number, who are "members of Christ's body".</div> <bR> <div> The reference to      Matt. 20:23 only speaks of who will sit next to Jesus (at His right and Left).</div> <bR> <div> The reference to 1 Cor. 12:18 (where the "BTD” Implies to be the 144,000) is speaking of the "GIFTS of the Holy Spirit" (see verse 4).</div> <bR> <div>  God gives these GIFTS (of the Holy Spirit) <I>to each member as He wills</I> (verse 11). There are many members of Christ's body (v. 12). </div> <bR> <div> But since the Watchtower does not believe these gifts are for today ("BTD" 14. Healing, Tongues) then there is no sense in even covering these verses as proof that only 144,000 are members of Christ's Body".</div> <bR> <div> In fact ALL of Chapters 12, 13 and 14 are dealing with "Spiritual Gifts".</div> <bR> <div> In <U>2 Tim. 3:1-5</U> it says that in the "Last days they will have <I>"a form of godly devotion but proving false to (denying) its power, and from these </I><I><U>turn away</U></I><I>" </I>They deny the Power of God's "Gifts" of the Holy Spirit.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Acts 1:8</U> <I>"but you will receive </I><I><B>POWER</B></I><I> when the </I><I><B>Holy</B></I><I> </I><I><B>Spirit </B></I><I>has come upon you, and you will be </I><I><B>MY WITNESSES" </B></I>(Jesus)</div> <bR> <div> Do you have the POWER to witness for Jesus? Are you denied the power of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts? THESE are the LAST DAYS."</div> <bR> <div> In <U>Rev. 5:9-10</U> the "BTD" identifies those who sang the new song as the 144,000. But verse 8<I> </I>identifies<I> </I>the “<I>four living creatures and the twenty-four elders" </I>as<I> </I>those who sang the new<I> </I>song NOT the 144,000.</div> <bR> <div> (See "15. Heaven” for the discussion about the 144,000)</div> <bR> <div> <U>Matt. 11:11</U> This scripture does NOT say that John the Baptist is not in heaven, but rather that <I>"he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is GREATER  than he".</I></div> <bR> <div> <I> </I><U>Matt. 18:4</U> says “<I>Therefore WHOEVER humbles himself as this little child is the GREATEST</I><I><B> </B></I><I>in the kingdom of heaven." </I>Verse 3<I> </I>does not limit the kingdom of heaven to the 144,000 but rather to <U>anyone</U> who is “<I>converted and become as little children.” </I>(see<I> </I>John 3:3)</div> <bR> <div> This is not<I> </I>a<I> </I>valid argument for the 144,000 nor for the location of the saints.</div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> "<B><U>OTHER SHEEP”</U></B></div> <bR> <div> The Watchtower misinterprets the “other sheep” of John 10:16 to be those who are to remain on earth in comparison to the 144,000 who will be in heaven.</div> <bR> <div> In truth, the “other sheep” are not those who remain on earth, but rather they are the “Gentiles”, those who are NOT Jews. The “other sheep” are the Gentile nations who would believe on Jesus Christ. We, the gentile nations of the world who are gathered together WITH the Jews, have become one nation and is clearly defined in the book of Ephesians.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Eph. 2:11-19</U>    “…<I>ye being in time past </I><I><B>Gentiles</B></I><I> in the flesh… You</I> <I>were without Christ being </I><I><B>aliens </B></I><I>from the commonwealth of Israel and </I><I><B>strangers from the covenants</B></I><I> of promise, having no hope and without God in the world but now in Christ Jesus </I><I><B>you who once were far off</B></I><I>  have been brought near by the blood of Christ... who hath made both one, and hath </I><I><B>broken down the middle wall</B></I><I> of partition between us   “...</I><I><B><U>that He might fully reconcile BOTH PEOPLES in ONE BODY</U></B></I><I>.”   </I>(please study the full context)</div> <bR> <div>      The Study of  <U>Matt. 25:32 & 40</U> is correctly explained by reading all the verses from verse 31-46. This is the parable of<I> </I>the Sheep and the Goats. The Sheep are the children of God who inherit the kingdom by their compassionate hearts (v. 34-40,46) and the goats<I> </I>are the wicked who inherit "everlasting fire" (v. 41-46) No "Other Sheep" mentioned here.
