Jesus is Jehovah!
www.crossbearer.net
I contend with anyone who researches this page, to deny that Jesus Christ is Jehovah God! This does not deny the fact that Jesus Christ has a Father, who is also Jehovah God! They are BOTH the ONE and TRUE God ... Jehovah - THE LORD!
For they who affirm that the Son is the Father, are proved neither to have become acquainted with the Father, nor to know that the Father of the universe has a Son; who also, being the first-begotten Word of God, is even God.
1st Apology of Justin Martyr [year A.D. 110-165.] p 339 (Chapter 63)
John 8:23-24
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. [24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
I ask that you seriously pray about this page, because your eternal destiney depends on WHO you believe that Jesus IS!
JESUS IS:
Jehovah-Raphe "the Lord our Healer" of Ex. 15:26 / Matt. 4:23; 1 Ptr 2:24
Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Jehovah-M'Kaddesh "the Lord who Sanctifies" of Lev 20:8 / 1 Cor. 1:30; Heb. 10:10
Leviticus 20:8
And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
1 Cor. 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Acts 26:15, 18
And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
…… To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Jehovah-Shalom "the Lord is Peace" of Judges 6:24 / John 14:27; Isa. 9:6
Judges 6:24
Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah-shalom (the LORD is Peace) : unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jehovah- Sabaoth "the Lord of Hosts (armies)" Jer. 32:18 / Matt. 25:31; Rev. 19:13
Please note here that Jesus Is “MIGHTY GOD” in Isa 9:6 AND Jehovah Is "MIGHTY GOD” in Jer. 32:18
Jeremiah 32:18
Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts (armies), is his name, (Jehovah Sabaoth)
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Matthew 25:31
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Rev. 19:13-14
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
When Jesus returns, he will establish a 1,000 year Kingdom on earth! Yet when Jesus returns, he will stand upon the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Please note the OLD Testament scriptures and WHO it will be that will stand upon the Mount of Olives!
Rev. 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Acts 1:11-12
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. [12] Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet (mount of Olives), which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
The following is an OLD Testament scripture which speaks of Jesus when he comes and stands on the mount of Olives to establish his 1,000 year rule and reign from Jerusalem!
Zech. 14:3-4
Then shall the LORD (Jehovah) go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. [4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
During the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, the King (Jehovah Sabaoth), everyone on earth will have to go up to worship HIM in Jerusalem!
Zech. 14:16
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts (Jehovah Sabaoth), and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zechariah identifies this "King, Jehovah Sabaoth" quoted above, the one who will rule the earth and be worshipped, in chapter 9:
Zech. 9:9-10
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. [10] .... and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river even to the ends of the earth.
Matthew 21:4-7
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, [5] Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. [6] And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
Jehovah-Rohi "the Lord is my Shepherd" Ps. 23:l; Ez. 34:11 / John 10:11,27
Please note here that it was Jesus' claim to be “THE SHEPHERD" and by saying that He and His Father "are one" that the Jews wanted to kill Him (v.26-33)
"..because you, being a man, make yourself God."(Jesus was claiming to BE GOD)
Psalm 23:1
The LORD (Jehovah) is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Ezekiel 34:11
For thus saith the Lord (Jehovah) God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
John 10:11, 27, 33 Jesus said:
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
…My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
…The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Jehovah-Tsidkenu "the Lord our Righteousness" Jer. 23:5-6 / 2 Cor. 5:21
Jeremiah 23:5-6
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. [6] In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (Jehovah Tsidkenu)
2 Cor. 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
This Kings NAME shall be called "Jehovah Tsidkenu", The Lord our Righteousness! He will be a descendent of David!
Zech. 6:12-13
And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord: [13] Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Hebrews 1:8-9
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. [9] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Rev. 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Jehovah-Shammah "the Lord is There" Ez. 48:35 / Matt. 1:23; 18:20; 28:20
Ezekiel 48:35
It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there. (Jehovah Shammah)
Matthew 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 18:20 Jesus said:
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matthew 28:20 Jesus said:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Jehovah- Jireh “the Lord will Provide" Gen. 22:8,14 / John 1:29; 8:56
Genesis 22:8
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Genesis 22:14
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
Abraham saw Jesus, the Lamb of God whom would be slain on the very same mount.
John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 8:56 Jesus said:
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Abraham SAW Jehovah Jireh, the LORD Himself, as the Lamb! Abraham SAW Jesus on that day! He saw his deliverer, his salvation ... HE SAW GOD, his provider "and was glad"! Abraham knew that one day, Jesus Christ would die on that very same mount that Abraham was willing to sacrifice his own "only" son. The Father in heaven would one day sacrifice HIS ONLY Son!
Jehovah-Nissi “the Lord our Banner" Ex. 17:15 / John 3:14: 12:32 & Isa 11 :10
Exodus 17:15
And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi: (The Lord our Banner)
John 3:14
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Isaiah 11:10
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign (banner) of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
A root of Jesse means his offspring or descendent.
Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
His rest shall be glorious, Jesus is the one who gives us rest!
JEHOVAH AND JESUS both claimed to be:
Alpha and Omega Rev. 1:8 / Rev. 22:13,16 - Rev. 1:17-18
Rev. 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Rev. 22:13, 16
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
…I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Rev. 1:17-18
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Jesus claimed to be the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last!
the First and the Last Isa 41:4 / Rev. 2:8
Isaiah 41:4
Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord (Jehovah) , the first, and with the last; I am he.
Rev. 2:8
And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Jesus, who was dead and is now alive, claimed to be the first and the last, even as Jehovah God claimed in Isaiah 41:4
The Light Isa 60:19 / John 8:12
Isaiah 60:19
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
1 John 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Rev. 21:23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev. 22:5
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord (Jehovah) God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Jesus Christ, the Lamb, IS THE LIGHT! So is the Lord God!
The Judge Ez. 34:17 / Matt. 25:31-32; John 5:27
Ezekiel 34:17
And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord (Jehovah) God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
Matthew 25:31-32
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: [32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
John 5:26-27
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; [27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Forgiver of Sins Jer. 31:34 / Mark 2:5,7
Jeremiah 31:34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord (Jehovah); for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Mark 2:5,7,10
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Mark 2:7
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
Mark 2:10
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
Living water Jer. 17:13 / John 7:38
Jeremiah 17:13
O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord (Jehovah), the fountain of living waters.
Isaiah 12:2-3
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. [3] Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
John 4:10,14
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 7:37-38
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Rev. 21:6
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev. 22:1
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev. 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Jesus IS the giver of the water of life!
Glory of God Isa 42:8 / John 17:1,5
Isaiah 42:8
I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
John 17:1
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Both Jehovah and Jesus are:
Creator Gen 1:1, Isa. 40:28; Ps. 102:25 / John 1:3; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:10
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 40:28
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Malachi 2:10 .... hath not one God created us? .....
John 1:1-3, 10
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Col. 1:14-19
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: [15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: [16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. [19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
If God, in Genesis 1:1, created the heaven and the earth, and John chapter 1 proclaims that Jesus Christ was the creator of ALL things, including the world, then which God is Genesis 1:1 and which God is John chapter 1? Are they different God's? Colossians chapter 1 proclaims that Jesus made all things in heaven and earth! John 1:3 says that without Jesus, NOTHING was made that has been made!
The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that Jesus was "a" god in John 1:1. So then WHICH God created the heaven and earth? Might I suggest that Jesus is the very same God of Genesis 1:1? THE God, creator of all things?
Psalm 102:1, 24-25
Hear my prayer, O Lord (Jehovah), and let my cry come unto thee.
I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. [25] Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
Hebrews 1:8-10
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. [9] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [10] And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
In Hebrews 1:10, the Father himself confesses that Jesus Christ is LORD, Jehovah (of Psalms 102) and that it was Jesus that laid the foundations of the earth and the heavens are the works of his hands! Which God is this which is mentioned in Psalms 102, since it is the same God of Hebrews 1:10! Will you proclaim that they are different god's as the Jehovah's Witnesses doctrine proclaims?
Savior Isa 43:11; 45:22 / John 4:42
Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am the Lord (Jehovah); and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 45:22
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
John 4:42
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
Titus 2:13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Titus 1:4
To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Jehovah God Himself confesses more than once, that HE ALONE is our savior and there is NO other savior! No other God, nor an angel, will save us! If Jesus Christ is NOT Jehovah God Himself, then He would be an impostor! But I choose to confess along with Thomas, that Jesus Christ is "My Lord (Jehovah) and My God", the savior of the world! WHAT is YOUR confession?
Redeemer Hos. 13:4,14 / Rev. 5:9
Hosea 13:4, 14
Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Hosea 13:14
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
Rev. 5:9
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Titus 2:13-14
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
I contend that the scripture in Titus 2:13-14 is actually proclaiming that Jesus Christ IS the great God and our Savior who will appear when he returns! Of course, the Jehovah's Witness doctrine denies that He will appear in the sight of avery person on earth (they claim he came invisibly in 1914) contrary to the verse that says:
Rev. 1:7-8
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. [8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
I contend that the above scripture is proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Almighty who will come on the clouds in the sight of every eye!
Bridegroom Hos. 2:16 / 2 Cor. 11:2
Hosea 2:16
And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord (Jehovah), that thou shalt call me Ishi (Hebrew meaning "my husband");
Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts (Jehovah Sabaoth) is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
2 Cor. 11:2
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Rev. 21:9
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
It would be contrary to God's word that we should be the wife of TWO husbands, making ourselves an adulteress (Romans 7:1-4)! So if we are to call Jehovah God "My Husband" and the scriptures declare that Jesus is to be our husband, then I must confess that Jesus Christ is Jehovah God ... "My Husband"!
Rock and Deliverer Ps. 18:2 / 1 Cor. 10:4
Psalm 18:2
The Lord (Jehovah) is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 70:5
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord (Jehovah), make no tarrying.
1 Cor. 10:4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Romans 7:24-25
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. …
Romans 11:26
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Confessed as Lord (Jehovah), to whom every knee shall bow Isa. 45:21,23 / Phil. 2:10-11
Isaiah 45:21, 23
Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord (Jehovah)? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. … I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Philip. 2:10-11
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Jehovah), to the glory of God the Father.
“THE” only name to call on for salvation Joel 2:32 / Acts 4:10,12
Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
Acts 4:10, 12
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 10:9-10, 13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jehovah - Jesus) shall be saved.
Creator of Angels Ps. 148:2,5 / Col. 1:16
Psalm 148:2, 5
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Let them praise the name of the Lord (Jehovah): for he commanded, and they were created.
Col. 1:14-19
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: [15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: [16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. [19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Jehovah God commanded, and the angels were made! Yet, it is Jesus who created ALL THINGS, visible and invisible, and by Jesus ALL things exist! Jesus created the angels of heaven! Jehovah God created the angels of heaven! Jesus is Jehovah!
Worshipped by Angels Ps. 148:2 / Heb. 1:6 (see "worship")
Psalm 148:2
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Hebrews 1:6
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
The worship of angels, is idolatry! If all the angels of God are commanded to worship Jesus, then how could he be Michael the Archangel as the Watchtower teaches?
Worshipped by men Zeph 2:11 / Matt. 2:2,11; 8:2; 9:18; 14:33; 15:25; 20:20; 28:9,17; Mark 5:6; Luke 24:52 and John 9:38

Greek "proskuneo" G4352 pros-koo-neh'-o From G4314 and probably a derivative of G2965 (meaning to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, that is, (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore): - worship.
Hebrew "shachah" H 7812 shaw-khaw'; a primitive root; to depress, i.e. prostrate (especially reflexive in homage to royalty or God) :- bow (self) down, crouch, fall down (flat), humbly beseech, do (make) obeisance, do reverence, make to stoop, worship. (ref. Strong's Greek and Hebrew Dictionary)
In both languages, the definition of "worship", literally, means, to "bow down" or "prostrate oneself" before someone. Not only is the same word "Proskuneo" used to define the worship of both God and Jesus in the Greek scriptures, but the scripture in Philippians actually defines, in full, the very definition of the term "worship!" Match the verse below with the definitions above:
Philip. 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Jehovah), to the glory of God the Father.
This is the one thing that every follower of the Watchtower is taught to refuse to do, bow their knee in worship, and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
The word "Lord," in Philip. 2:10-11 above, is the Greek word " Kurios," and is the exact same word the Watchtower has translated as "Jehovah" in the NWT! You may want to research this!
Every J.W. is taught to disobediently refuse to "bow down" to Jesus, and confess him as "Jehovah" according to God's commandment in Philip. 2:10-11 shown above!
Is Jesus Jehovah God?
John 1:1, 10
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (see footnote)
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
John 5:39-40
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. [40] And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
John 8:23-24
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. [24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
John 20:28-29
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
WHO DO YOU CLAIM JESUS TO BE? Your eternal destiny depends on your belief in the correct Jesus! If your wrong, you will perish in your sins!
John 1:1
And the Word was God (kai theos e¯n ho logos). By exact and careful language John denied Sabellianism (see below) by not saying ho theos e¯n ho logos. That would mean that all of God was expressed in ho logos and the terms would be interchangeable, each having the article. The subject is made plain by the article (ho logos) and the predicate without it (theos) just as in Joh_4:24 pneuma ho theos can only mean "God is spirit," not "spirit is God." So in 1Jo_4:16 ho theos agape¯ estin can only mean "God is love," not "love is God" as a so-called Christian scientist would confusedly say. For the article with the predicate see Robertson, Grammar, pp. 767f. So in Joh_1:14 ho Logos sarx egeneto, "the Word became flesh," not "the flesh became Word." Luther argues that here John disposes of Arianism also because the Logos was eternally God, fellowship of Father and Son, what Origen called the Eternal Generation of the Son (each necessary to the other). Thus in the Trinity we see personal fellowship on an equality. (Robertson's Word Pictures)
And the Word was God (kai theos e¯n ho logos)
In the Greek order, and God was the Word, which is followed by Anglo-Saxon, Wyc., and Tynd. But Theos, God, is the predicate and not the subject of the proposition. The subject must be the Word; for John is not trying to show who is God, but who is the Word. Notice that Theos is without the article, which could not have been omitted if he had meant to designate the word as God; because, in that event, Theos would have been ambiguous; perhaps a God. (Vincent's Word Studies)
No reputable scholars support the J.W. "a" god theory. Since they sing the praises of the Wescott & Hort text in their introduction, we'll let Dr. B. F. Westcott give his scholarly opinion on this portion of the Greek.
"The predicate (God) stands emphatically first, as in iv. 24. It is necessarily without the article...No idea of inferiority of nature is suggested by the form of expression, which simply affirms the true deity of the Word...In the third clause "the Word" is declared to be 'God" and so included in the unity of the Godhead."

Sabellianism was the heretical doctrine that Jesus was God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as ONE person, alone, denying the 3 persons of the Godhead. This heresy preceeded the Arius heresy which later denied that Jesus was God and that he was created by God. The second heresy is the doctrine that resurged in the Jehovah's Witness group 100+ years ago.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
An interesting piece of information to be found on this verse in John 1:18. It is interesting to note, that the J.W. group, often look for some lost document that might refute the deity of Jesus Christ. These lost and now found items are their security and source for their heresy of denying the deity of Jesus Christ. Yet, might I venture to illustrate that there are documents, that if they had refuted the deity of Jesus Christ, would be of utmost interest to this cult, but on the contrary, these documents illustrate the opposite, that of declaring that Jesus Christ IS GOD THE SON. While this documentation clearly shows Jesus to be "God the Son," it's interesting how the J.W.'s are still able to make him into a "lesser" god!
No one has ever seen God. The unique God, who is close to the Father's side, has revealed him. (ISV)
No one has ever seen God, but God the only Son, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known (NIV)
No man has seen God at any time, the only begotton god, who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him (NWT)
The only begotten son (ho monogene¯s huios)
Several of the principal manuscripts and a great mass of ancient evidence support the reading Monogenes Theos, "God only begotten."
Another and minor difference in reading relates to the article, which is omitted from monogenes by most of the authorities which favor Theos. Whether we read the only begotten Son, or God only begotten, the sense of the passage is not affected. The latter reading merely combines in one phrase the two attributes of the word already indicated - God (Joh_1:1), only begotten (Joh_1:14); the sense being one who was both God and only begotten.
Westcott and Hort's text gives Theos , with ho monogenees huios in the margin. So Westcott (Commentary), Milligan and Moulton, and Tregelles. See Schaff's note on the passage in Lange; Scrivener, p. 525; and "Two Dissertations," by F. J. A. Hort, Cambridge, 1877.) (Vincent's Word Studies)
The only begotten Son (ho monogene¯s huios). This is the reading of the Textus Receptus and is intelligible after ho¯s monogenous para patros in Joh_1:14. But the best old Greek manuscripts (Aleph B C L) read monogene¯s theos (God only begotten) which is undoubtedly the true text. Probably some scribe changed it to ho monogene¯s huios to obviate the blunt statement of the deity of Christ and to make it like Joh_3:16. But there is an inner harmony in the reading of the old uncials. The Logos is plainly called theos in Joh_1:1. The Incarnation is stated in Joh_1:14, where he is also termed monogene¯s. He was that before the Incarnation. So he is "God only begotten," "the Eternal Generation of the Son" of Origen's phrase. (Robertson's Word Pictures)
