Prince Carl I. was the founding Prince of Selvidge. He ruled from about 1920 to 1991. He died in 1991 of cancer. He married Miss Marie Elizabeth and from this marriage has four children. H.S.H. Prince Michael I. is the second eldest son of Their Serence Highnesses Prince Carl and Princess Marie.
