Corduroy 9 is a four piece Rock-n-Roll group based out of Washington D.C. The band has been playing gigs and recording albums for four years. Corduroy 9 is comprised of Scott Hommell Jr. on bass, Brian Jones on drums, Danny Burke on lead guitar and vocals, and Johnny Burke on rhythm guitar and vocals. The average age of the members of Corduroy 9 is 24 years old.
C9's music has been compared to the likes of Pavement, The Band, and the Cars. They currently have over 60 original songs which are written by Danny Burke and younger brother Johnny. Corduroy 9 has recorded 2 albums Stout and Tobacco Road since they formed in 1999. C9 is currently working on their third album and looks for a release date in early Spring 2003. For the future, the band looks to continue gigging and making great music for themselves and their fans.
