Messerschmitt ME 163 Komet
Designed to go up against bomber streams it was supposed to be fast and furious.
It took off via rocket engine and trolly and went up to meet the bombers.
It them went through the formations with guns blazing.
When it ran out of ammo it simply glided to earth and rearmed and went back up again.
It would be a great thing if only the fuel wasn't so hostile.
Many times the ME-163 would blow up on take off.
