Junkers JU 88
Appropiatly nicknamed "  The Jack of All Trades Bomber" it was another standard Luftwaffe bomber. It served in almost all theaters. On the Eastern Front Soviet fighters would make frontal attacks on bombers. So German pilots had the great idea of painting a solid nosed packed with guns like glass. The Soviet fighters thinking they were glazed noses came in from the front and were blasted away when the JU 88 pilot gave the nose guns a burst.
