I want to paint my patio. What are the colors of the Chico Oaks?

Light gray is: Kelly-Moore 92-756CH "Gray Whale" exterior flat acrylic

Dark gray is: Kelly-Moore 174 "Charcoal Gray" exterior flat acrylic

FYI: The closest Kelly-Moore Paints store is at 1221 Mangrove Avenue, Chico 345-2466. This is not an endorsement.  It is strongly recommended that a mildewcide be added to the paint.

You can download the MS Word document of the colors and print it out.

What is supposed to go in the gray recycling bins?

RECYCLABLEPlastic containers 1-7 (number on bottom), glass (green, brown and clear), aluminum, tin cans, newspapers, cardboard boxes and cartons, white paper and envelopes with no windows.

NOT RECYCLABLE: No magazines, mail, mixed papers, colored paper, yard waste, garbage or hazardous waste. In short, only what is mentioned above should go in the recycling bins.

Newspapers may be bagged or bundled next to recycling containers. Cardboard boxes must be flattened, and may be placed next to recycling containers also. Oil and batteries are not handled by Norcal, please recycle these items by bringing them to the proper facilities.

Your really need a separate, clearly marked container for recyclables in your unit, in addition to your regular waste containers. You can download the MS Word document of "Recyclables", print it out and post it by the container in your unit.

Please, do recycle. Help keep America beautiful.

I've lost my pool key. How do I get another?

Please contact management. It cost $50 to get a new key. If you are a renter, you should get the key from the owner. If you are a new owner, you should get the key from the previous owner. If you can't, you must pay $50 to get one. Sorry.

I need to shut of the water to my unit for plumbing repairs. How?

The water shut-off valve for each unit is located outside.

One a one story unit, it is below the outside faucet. I am not referring to the patio faucet; I am talking about the outside faucet that is on the opposite side of the unit from the patio. A pipe comes out of the ground, then forms a "T". One end has a faucet; the other continues into the unit wall and supplies that unit. At the base of the pipe that comes out of the ground is the shut-off valve for that unit. You might have to dig!

On a two-story unit it is next to the hot water heater. Outside the heater enclosure is a pipe that comes out of the ground about 2 feet before going into the water heater enclosure. At the base of this pipe, next to the ground, is the valve. You might have to dig!

Can we use the cabana for a birthday party?

Yes. You must reserve it in advance, and you must pay a $50 cleaning deposit. Please leave everything as you found it, and do not make any changes to the dry-erase boards. Contact management  to make arrangements.

I want to add cabinets to my carports. What do I have to do?

Any changes to the exterior of a unit (including carport cabinets, awnings, screen doors, exterior blinds and windows) require approval from the Architectural Committee.
