"Let me go!" Kimberly screamed as he pulled her roughly by the arm. She
angerily clawed at his hand. He groweled and tightened his grip, which
caused her to yelp in pain. "Jesus christ! What the hell is your problem!
Let go of me!"
"Will you shut up?" He growled. Her eyes widened. The only time she
remembered being him ever being this harsh to her was when he was the evil
green ranger.
"No, I will not shut up!" She screamed at him. "If you don't let me go, I
swear I'll scream for the police or something." She said as she struggled to
get out of his grasp. "I was minding my own buissness at the victory
celebration, having fun, and then you become all Mr. Caveman, dragging me
away, now, let me go!" Tommy scoffed.
"Right, so, you're definition of 'having fun' is throwing yourself at
anything with a dick." He said. Kimberly felt like she had just been
punched in the gut. Tommy, her Tommy.......Well, actually Kat's Tommy, but
her used to be Tommy, who was still her friend, who had saved her life on
Muranthis, saying these things to her hurt her more then anything.
"Fuck you!" She screamed, holding back tears that threatened to slide down.
Tommy dragged the kicking, punching, cursing, and screaming Kimberly
to his house. His parents where gone for the weekend, so they were alone.
He dragged her in and shut the door. He turned to see her glaring at him. A
very pissed look on her face.
"What is wrong with you?" She yelled at him.
"What? Can't someone just want to talk to an old friend?" He said
sarcasticly. He walked past her and sat on the living room couch. She
turned to face him, still glaring at him.
"Funny." She replied. "This coming from the same guy who, let's see," She
held her hand out and began counting things on her fingers with the other.
"Pulls me away, rudely, from a party, which, was actually a party in his
honor-"
"No it wasn't."
"Fine, yours, Adam and Jason's, Happy?" She said, without waiting for a
response, she continued. "Anyway, pulls me away, had my arm in a vice grip
from hell, yelled at me, and, basically called me a whore. Sorry Tommy, I'm
not buying it, what's going on here?"
"I wanted to talk to you." He said.
"Talk?" She snorted. "Talk? Tommy, talking is an act of mature and civil
adults, characteristics that apparently you lack."
"Sorry Ms. Florida, not all of us spent the last year or so with stuck up
people and all." He said coldly.
"Is that what this is about? Florida?" She said. "What the fuck does me
and Florida have to do with anything?" She demanded. Tommy looked at her.
He stood up and walked over to her. "What?" She said. He held her softly
at her upper arms.
"You want to know what it has to do with anything?" He murmurred. Kimberly
nodded softly. He gazed down at her, into her eyes, and at her lips.
Kimberly's heart raced. Tommy's face lowwered to hers. She let her eyes
drift shut, awaiting his lips.
"I guess you really are a ditz." He said. She opened her eyes to see his
smirking face and reality struck her, Tommy had just tricked her, big time.
She felt her anger boil inside of her, and his smirk only added fuel to the
fire.
"Ditz this asshole!" She grunted as she delivered a swift right hook to his
jaw. Tommy fell back on the couch.
"OW!" He held his jaw, and looked at her. Her face was set in an angery
scowl.
"Sorry," She said through clenched teeth. "But you seriously needed that.
Now, I don't know what is wrong with you, but until you get over it, I'm out
of here." She made her way to the door. "Hope your not this abusive with
Kitty-Kat." She said over her shoulder.
"My sympathies to Florida Boy." Tommy said. Kimberly stopped. The letter,
she remembered. The letter she wrote to him, saying she had found someone
new. Little did he know that it wasn't true. There wasn't anyone new.
"What is his name, by the way?" Tommy's voice broke into her thoughts.
"None of your buissness." She said. Tommy stood up and walked over to her.
He put his hand on her shoulder and turned her to face him, Kimberly snatched
her arm away.
"Come on, you can tell me his name. I mean, you dumped me with a stupid
'Dear John' letter, the least you could do is tell me the name of the guy."
Kimberly folded her arms over her chest and remained silent. "Come on Kim."
"It's none of your buissness."
"It's just a simple question Kimberly. What's the name of the guy you're in
love with?" Kimberly looked at him. The name of the guy I love, she thought
to herself, his Tommy Oliver, but right now he's being a jackass, how's that?
"Why do you want to know?" She said.
"Why won't you tell me?"
"Because it doesn't concern you." She said.
"This is the guy who stole you away from me, I think it does concern me."
"Stole me away from you?" Kimberly said in disbelief. "Stole me from you?
Tommy, I'm a human being. No one owns me, and no one steals me." She said.
"And anyway, you seem rather happy with Kat, so it shouldn't matter an-" Her
words were cut off as Tommy crushed his lips down on hers in a hot and
passionate kiss. She let out a surprised scream that came out muffled
agansit his lips. Tommy pressed her aganist the nearby wall and towared over
her, kissing her hungerily. "Tommy.." Kimberly managed to get out through
kisses. "Tommy stop it." Tommy's lips trailed down her jawline.
"I can't." He murmurred aganist her skin. His arms were wrapped around the
small of her back and he held her to him closely as he kissed her soft neck.
Kimberly's heart raced. Tommy had never been this forceful. She pushed
aganist his chest to try and get away, but he held her still.
"No, Tommy." She whimpered, tears sliding down her face. She was actually
scared. She was scared of Tommy. The thought of that brought even more
tears to her eyes. She was scared of Tommy, the man she loved. "Tommy,
please."
"Kimberly." Tommy mummbled huskily into the hallow of her neck, his voice
full of hunger and passion. One of his hand crept under the black tanktop
she wore, carressing her back. The blue blose she had on had been lost
somewhere in the party. His touch on her bare skin sent chills down her
spine out of pleassure, excitment, but also fear.
"Tommy, please, you're scaring me." Kimberly sobbed out. Tommy stopped and
stepped away from her. He looked at her. Her eyes where red and puffy, her
cheeks were tearstained, and her lips were slightly swollen from his kisses.
Her chin quivered. She looked down and smooth down her tanktop.
"I.......What did you say?" He asked softly. Had he heard correctly? Was
she scared of him? Kimberly was silent for a moment. Her eyes were shining
with unshed tears.
"I.........I.........I said you're scaring me." She squeeked out. Tommy
avoided her gaze and sat on his couch. He leaned forward, putting his elbows
on his lap. He put his head in his hands. Kimberly stood there, unsure what
to do.
"I'm sorry." He said. Kimberly heard his voice wavering, as if he too was
crying. Kimberly slowly went over to him. She stood before him. "I'm so
sorry, Kim. I didn't mean to scare you. That's the last thing I'd ever want
to do." He said. Kimberly stood over him.
"It's OK, Tommy." She whispered soothingly. Tommy looked up at her. He
wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. He looked up at her.
"I don't know what came over me." He said. "I just saw you, at the party,
with all those other guys, laughing, having fun, and, I just lost it. And,
then, I......I just couldn't stop myself." Kimberly looked down at him and
put her hand on his head. She stroked his hair.
"It's OK." She said, comfortingly. "It's OK. And, uhm, don't worry. Kat
won't know about it." Tommy looked at her and in and instand pulled her down
to him. She was now sitting, in a strattling possition, on his lap.
"What.....What are you doing?" She asked, surprised.
"I don't care if Kat finds out." He said.
"You don't mean that. You love her."
"I love you." He said. Kimberly looked at him.
"No.....No you don't. Tommy, you-"
"God I've missed you." He interupted her. He ran his fingers along her
cheek. "I've missed holding you, touching you, kissing you, talking to you."
Kimberly was enjoying his touch and his words so much.
"I've missed you too." She said. She felt him pull his hand away.
"No, you haven't." He said.
"What?" She said, still in her little plessure daze.
"You haven't. Atleast not like I have. If you did, you wouldn't have
written that letter." Kimberly looked down. The letter.
"Tommy.......I....." She let her voice trail off, not exactly sure what to
say.
"What?" He said.
"I lied."
"What?"
"I lied." Tears slid down her cheeks. She wiped them away. She kept her
voice steady and her head down. "There never was anyone else." Tommy let
her words sink in.
"But.....the letter.....I-"
"I lied! OK!" She screamed, getting up. She turned away from him. She
sobbed silently. "I lied to you. I........I wrote that fucking letter
because I was scared." She spit out through her tears. Tommy stood up.
"Scared? Scared of what?" He asked. She turned to face him.
"Of everything! I was in this new place and I didn't know anyone, I thought
about you constantly. I couldn't concentrate. Coach found one of the
letters you had written to me, and well, by simple detuction, figured you
were the reason I was so distracted." Tommy looked at her. "Tommy, he told
me I had to forget about you, had to dump you, but, I wouldn't. So, he
became extra hard on me. Everynight, I'd get in bed with parts of me acheing
from exhaustion that I didn't even knew existed!" She wiped her eyes and
took a few deep breaths. When she spoke again, she spoke in a calmer voice.
"A few weeks into the 'special' treatment, I couldn't take it anymore, I
wrote the letter. Tommy, I'm so sorry. I love you so much, and everyday I
hated myself for writing it. But I was so damn afraid! I was afraid I
wouldn't be able to stay in. I mean, I was eating less, sleeping less, and,
was just, terrible. I was afraid of having to come back to Angel Grove,
knowing I was a failure. Knowing I was nothing." Tommy took her in his arms
and let her cry on his shoulder.
"You couldn't be 'nothing' even if you tried." He murmured into her hair.
"I was going to tell you the truth sooner, but, then, well, I called Adam one
day. We were just chatting, and I asked about you. He told me you were
dating Kat. You were happy. I didn't want to ruin your happiness Tommy. I
didn't want to mess things up. Kat's a great person, and, I didn't want to
ruin..." Her voice trailed off into sobs. Tommy held her tighter.
"The only times I've ever been happy was with you, Beautiful." He said.
Kimberly's tears subsided slightly at hearing her call her that. What he'd
just to call her, and to actually hear someone think she was beautiful, even
after all that had happened. Kimberly lifter her face and looked into his
eyes. She smiled though her tears.
"You know I'd always compleatly melt whenever you called me that." She said.
"Does it still have the same affect?" He asked, a smile forming on his lips.
Kimberly pulled him down and they kissed, softly.
Kimberly and Tommy held on to eachother as they kissed franticly. It
was as if they were people who had been in Sahara for months, and have just
been given a bottle of water. It was something they had longed for, and
needed. They made their way to his bedroom, their lips never breaking
contact. Tommy gently guided Kimberly to his bed, and they laid together,
their lips never parting. Tommy kissed her neck.
"Oh god, Tommy." Kimberly moaned. She ran her fingers through his hair.
Kimberly felt like she was on fire. Tommy kissed down her neck and kissed
and nipped at her collar bone. As much as Kimberly was loving his lips on
her, she needed more. She needed to feel more. But, how could she say this
to him. She wasn't even supposed to be doing this. He had a girlfriend.
She groaned mentally. This would've been so much easier if Kat was a major
bitch, or something. But the thing was, Kat was so sweet. Kimberly couldn't
do something to hurt her.
"Kim," Tommy moaned as his lips made their way back to hers. Her heart
raced rapidly. Any and all thoughts of hurting Kat were pushed out of her
head by Tommy's kisses. But they weren't enough. She needed to feel him.
Feel his hands and kisses all over her body.
"Tommy." She moaned. Tommy looked at her.
"What is it?" He asked gently.
"I need you." She whispered, her voice filled with desperation and longing.
Tommy gently touched her cheek. Those were the only things he needed to
hear. In and instant, his lips were on hers. Tommy and Kimberly sat up,
their lips holding contact. Tommy gripped the hem of his shirt and took it
off, tossing it to the floor. Kimberly did the same with her own tanktop.
In a matter of minutes, both were rid of their pants. They both sat their,
looking at eachother.
"Tommy.......I...........I don't want to be responsible for hurting Kat-"
Kimberly was cut off by Tommy placing his finger on her lips.
"Shh." He said. "Right now, all that exists is you, me, and this," Tommy
kissed her lips. The two laid back on his bed and removed their underwear.
Tommy slowly entered her. He gazed at her face. Her beautiful,
beautiful face.
"Oh god, you're so beautiful." He mumurred. He kissed her lips. Kimberly
moaned in his mouth. His hands were all over her naked body. The sweet,
slow, and passionate rythm of their bodies coming together lasted for what
seemed like an eternity. An eternity that they prayed would never end. The
sweet, slow, and passionate rythm of their bodies coming together lasted for
what seemed like an eternity. An eternity that they prayed would never end.
"Oh god, Kimberly." Tommy moaned. He felt like he was on the edge of the
cliff of sanity. A cliff he was glad to jump off. Kimberly dazedly closed
her eyes. The passion in the room was so much it almost didn't leave room to
breath.
Kimberly awoke the next morning to find herself alone in Tommy's bed.
She sat up.
"Tommy?" She called. She got out of the bed and put her cloths back on.
She smoothed her hair back from her face and left the room. She walked to
the living room and froze at what she saw. Kat and Tommy were sitting on his
couch, making out like crazy. "Toomy?" She squeeked out. Tommy and Kat
broke apart and looked at her.
"Oh, hey." He said cooly. Kat giggled. Kimberly looked at them.
"What's going on?" Kimberly asked. "I........I thought we....."
"What? You didn't actually think that last night meant anything, did you?"
Tommy asked. Kimberly could feel tears rolling down her cheeks. Her throat
tightened.
"Wh.....What?"
"Tommy and I are getting married." Kat stood up and strode over to her. She
showed her hand, on it was a huge diamond engagement ring. "Last night was
just, sort of a, what is it? Oh, yea, last fling." Tommy came up behind Kat
and put his arm around her waist. He nuzzled her neck.
"W.......Tommy........You said you loved me." Kimberly said, on the brink of
sobs.
"And you thought I meant it?" Tommy laughed. "Puh-lease. You're so
pathedic, you had to make up a boyfriend in Florida, who in their right mind
would love you?" Kat and Tommy laughed.
"NO!" Kimberly sat up. She was drenched in sweat. She jumped when
she felt an arm on her shoulder. She looked to see she was sitting up in
Tommy's bed, and a somewhat still sleepy Tommy was looking at her with a
puzzled experession on his face.
"Kim?" He asked. "Are you OK?" All of a sudden he felt her smack him.
"OW! What...Kim....What was that for?" He held his cheek.
"That's for lying to me!" She shrieked.
"Lying to you? About what?"
"You and Kat. You're getting married aren't you?"
"Huh? What? What......OW!" Kimberly began smacking his arms, chest, face.
He grabbed her arms. "Kim. Kim, calm down. It was just a dream." Kimberly
looked at him. Kimberly looked at him. It was just a dream, she thought.
She looked down.
"Oh god, I'm sorry." She looked at the alarm clock on Tommy's nightstand.
The green liguid neon numbers read 3:45am. "Oh, man, I'm sorry, I didn't
mean to wake you." She said. Tommy chuckled.
"This coming from the woman who was just beating me." Kimberly laughed. The
two laid back down in eachothers arms.
Tommy woke up as the sun began to shine through the red curtins of his
bedroom. He looked down at Kimberly. He was lying on his back and she was
on her side, next to him. One arm was thrown over the pillow, the other was
across his chest. One of her legs was trown over his hip. He held her
around her waist, enjoying this moment of togetherness. He felt her nose
nuzzled his neck. " Good morning." He smiled. Kimberly lifted her head and
kissed him.
"Now it's a good morning." She smiled at him.
Kat laid on her bed. What did she do? What in the world did she
do? She looked at the raising and falling chest of the sleeping man lying
next to her. She wasn't going to lie and say she didn't enjoy it, and that
she hadn't wanted it to happen. But, how was she going to tell Tommy? How
was she going to tell Tommy she loved someone else? She turned away from
him. No way was she going to be able to think straight while looking at his
perfect body. The perfect body that she had touched, and kissed
and.......Oy. She thought. She felt the mattress move under her. He was
waking up. He slowly moved closer to her and put his arms around her.
"Hey." He smiled to her.
"Hey." She replied.
"Something wrong?" He asked.
"Yes." She replied bluntly. "How am I supposed to tell Tommy I slept with
one of his best friends......And that.........And that......"
"And that what?" He asked.
"And that I think I'm falling inlove with him." Kat looked at him. He
looked at her and kissed her.
