Cascade Geographic Society (CGS) is a non-profit
organization. Each school quarter CGS offers classes taught by Michael P. Jones
and certified through Portland State University. If you would like to attend a
class and earn credit please see below. Yes, your spouse can attend class with

If you do not need the
credit but would still like some general information about the topics please
feel free to sign up for a tour rather than a class. Michael offers one-day tours for a reduced cost,
please see the main tour page for more information.

Important Notice:
Participants must be prepared to begin on time and bring the following: sack
lunch & snacks; $10 for museum fees, if needed; extra money in case of
emergencies; proper dress and shoes to fit the weather conditions & season.

To sign up for a class you must register with
Cascade Geographic Society. CGS will register you through Portland State
University. You can call CGS (see below) or you can print out a registration
form on-line and mail it in. If you want to print out a form on-line you can use

Please
note regarding payment for classes: make out one check (to PSU) or pay with
your credit card. You need to do this separately for each class. Check or credit
card must be processed through Cascade Geographic Society, and must be received
prior to the second class date . Payments not received by then may delay
