Bravo Fleet

BRAVO FLEET CORPS HEADQUARTERS

Welcome to the Corps of Bravo Fleet, where the specialized services of Starfleet are represented by those that work in the field!  Headed by Vice Admiral Flynn Taggart from his office on Starbase Bravo, representatives from several fields work hard to bring information to the fleet.  Each corps representative maintains a website dedicated to his/her field, dedicated to the furthering of information within their corps.  Bravo Fleet personnel assigned to these fields may find useful information that will further their Starfleet careers and assist them in performing their duties at their various stations.

Corps directors, in addition to displaying information on their field of specialty for the general use of the fleet, maintain a contact list of counterparts throughout the fleet.  For example, the Science Corps provides a comprehensive list of ships' Science Officers throughout the fleet, allowing for a wide exchange of information from a multitude of personnel.

WHAT'S INVOLVED WITH BEING A CORPS DIRECTOR?

Your help is needed to head a corps and "spread the word" about your field!  This is an outstanding chance to play a fleet-wide role in Bravo Fleet and use your organizational talents for the betterment of all simmers.

The duties and responsibilities of a Corps Director within Bravo Fleet are as follows:

  1. Create a website dedicated to your corps, providing useful information that other players in your field may find useful in their role-playing.

  2. Research the fleet and liaison with task force and unit commanders regarding open positions, special projects, news and services that pertain to your corps.  Give role-playing tips and advice for those that role-play in your field.

  3. Maintain a roster of the senior officer within your corps aboard each Bravo Fleet sim (i.e. the Medical Corps will maintain a listing of all Chief Medical Officers within the fleet, to the best of their ability)

  4. Make all reports to the Fleet Corps Director.

Serving as a Corps Director can be hard work in the beginning, as much time is required to create your website and research your information.  But when the site is up and the research is finished, all that is needed is to maintain the site as needed, field questions from various personnel throughout the fleet, and maintain the roster of personnel serving within that field.  There may even be guest-star opportunities accompanying this position, allowing your corps director character to travel to various commands throughout the fleet on temporary assignments.  The possibilities are numerous.

HOW DO I BECOME A CORPS DIRECTOR?

To be eligible, you must be a relatively junior player on a Bravo Fleet sim, between the ranks of Ensign (ENS) and Lieutenant (LT). Lieutenant Commanders (LCDR) may be considered, but priority will be given to the junior ranks.  Command officers or officers holding the Bravo Fleet rank of Commander or above are ineligible to become Corps Directors.  This position is intended to allow junior officers a chance to participate and take leadership in a fleet-wide project.

Email the Fleet Corps Director with your desire to become a Corps Director today!  There is no application process beyond a typical screening by selected Bravo Fleet Admiralty members.

Prospective Corps Directors must be willing to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Corps Director as listed.
