Saturday, October 8, 2005: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Diane Jones of Jonesville, and Dorothy Metzler of Longview.
Weather Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 54º F and the afternoon high was 75º F with partly cloudy skies. Winds were calm.Number of Nets: Nine nets were set up between 9:30-10:30. Two additional nets were set up between 11:05-11:25 a.m.
Time:
Nets were closed between 5:05-5:35 p.m.

Saturday, October 22, 2005: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Rick Lowerre and Mary Kelly of Austin, Dr. Jack and Mary Jane Sanders of Marshall, and Tony Novak of Karnack.
Weather Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 47º F and the afternoon high was 69º F with sunny skies and calm winds.Number of Nets: Fourteen (14)
Time:
We started putting up nets at 8:45 a.m. and all nets were down by 3:40 p.m.
