Saturday, November 11, 2006: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Texas;
Becky Gullette of Carthage, Texas; Darla Salone of Carthage; Sabrina Barron of Deberry, Texas; Vicky Amy of Marshall; Heather Woods of San Augustine, Texas; Jason and Olga Carroll of Dallas; and Colleen Cookson of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Weather Conditions:
The morning low temperature was 45º F and the afternoon high was 57º F with a strong breeze from the north. Skies were sunny.Number of Nets: Twelve (12)
Time:
We started putting up nets at 9:15 a.m. and all nets were closed by 5:10 p.m.
