Saturday, January 8, 2005: Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts. Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson,
True Mann of Longview, Diane Jones of Jonesville, Ron Munden of Marshall, Dorothy Metzler of Longview, and Cissy and J.R. McCrary of Marshall.
Location: The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).
Weather Conditions:
The morning was mostly cloudy with a low temperature of 37º F. The afternoon was partly cloudy to clear with a high of 46º F.Number of Nets: Fourteen (14)
Time:
Nets were set up between 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. and were closed by 4:40 p.m.
