July 9TH 2005: Bugs in the Garden . The Volkswagen Club of Western New York (VWAWNY) will be hosting their annual "Bugs in the Garden - Again" Shine/Show and Swap Meet on July 9, 2005 at the Rose Garden Grove, Clarence NY (Buffalo Area) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The show will be a non-judge event that will be free to exhibitors, vendors, and spectators. Come one, come all!

August 27 2005. NORTHERN VW NATIONALS "1/8 mile VW Drag racing" Sponsored by Grand Bend Motor Plex, John's Bug Shop & Leavens VW. 1/8 mile Drag Racing, Car Show, Swap Meet. Pay the Standard Spectator Admission fee at the Gate for the weekend and enter the Car show and Swap Meet for free. That's right, No Extra Charge to Enter your car in the Car Show or to Vend Parts at the Swap Meet. Standard fees apply for Drag Racers. Stay all weekend and visit the Beach only 5 minutes away. Camping on the grounds, Clean Showers, Lots of fun everyone. You don't want to miss it this year..!!!
