At this time, Pottery the ART is working towards a "Not for profit status" and our goal is to become a means of education in the arts, more specifically the art of pottery and the Fine Arts in rural areas such as ours.
Our goal is to offer a means for other rural artists in any media to share and teach their art to others and to share the artistic traditions of the Ozarks.

Ken George
is the instructor.
He has been throwing professionally for over 20 years. He mines clay, formulates all of his own glazes and has built several different styles of kilns. Ken prefers to wood fire because he feels it is not only one of the most challenging and difficult of all firing techniques, but, it represents the timelessness and ancient beauty of the art of pottery.
We encourage you to stop by and visit Pottery the ART and experience first hand the art of pottery making
