Who am I?

I am a retired teacher who is interested in computers and genealogy. I formerly taught Speech, Drama and English at a private girls' school in California. After raising my family of two, I taught in Business College and there discovered word processing. I taught the early Displaywriter and worked a job share as a word processor for a real estate appraisal office. Then I discovered Adult Education and became a part-time instructor in a computer skill center.

Where did I come from?

This site is going to include my ancestral history and the sticking points I have found in some of my genealogical lines. Two of my family lines go back to pre-Revolutionary times in this country which makes research a little difficult. I envy my husband whose ancestors all came over since 1850. He got me started in this hobby but finished his years ago and I'm still struggling.
