Snapshots from The Beach
Krabi Town in Thailand

The following report was sent to us by Charlotte who with three friends witnessed the above scene being filmed: "The scene begins with Leonardo sitting in front of the Buddha image. A tuk-tuk driver comes and shouts at him. Leonardo stands up and walks towads him. They talk for a while and then the driver jumps out of his tuk-tuk and takes Leo's bags and puts them in the tuk-tuk. Then he throws a watergun to him and they talk for a little longer."

The following report comes from John who was also in the same area as Charlotte: "I was in Krabi Town, looking on my map Pracha Chuen Road I guess. I'd been looking around for a secondhand book shop and finally found one. The shop was deserted, but I saw a book that looked like a nice read and tried to find somebody to sell it to me. "No!" an older woman told me smiling. This was a surprise! Finally a foreigner filled me in... the road was taken over for the filming and was supposed to be that street in Bangkok, damn I wanted that book too!"
