Book Of Shadows

For those of you expecting to come here looking for spells, sorry! Right now I don't wish to post any spells because to me they are, well special. There are alot of sites which post their spells on the net, but for me the time isn't right. Perhaps in the future I will post some but for now I just would like to tell others what the book is about. You can find alot of pages with spells in my links section.

A book of shadows, in a way is like a Witches diary of sorts. They contain their spells, information such as altar layouts, notes, important dates, things like that. Many use a section for a dream diary to record any dreams they have. Basically anything that is of importance to a Witch is in their book. Some Witches who are in Covens often have two seperate books, one for the High Priestess to view and one that is secretly there own. Often the High Preistess will ask to view your book to see things such as magickal workings, recorded outcomes and other information. Usually the second book is kept strictly for your own spells. There are two very important words in the last sentence.....YOUR OWN......spells are yours and no one is allowed to view them unless you give permission. A High Priest or Priestess will not ask to see them, they are truely your own. Every spell is different simply because you make it. Something that works for one may not work for someone else. A copied spell will only work once, but a spell you create will work forever and can be used as often as you wish. If you choose to use spells from other sites, remember, always change it to suit you. By doing that, the spell is now yours.
