I first started playing New Moon Mud on May 7th, 1999. Before then an rpg meant final fantasy and mud was something pretty blonde girls in t-shirts wrestled in. I had no idea that a text-based game could be so enthralling and even more realistic than a graphic one. I think that is because there is more human intervention, you are your character, and when you log off, the world goes on without you. Yeah it took a lot of hard work to learn how to get around and survive in this new world, but never have I been as enthralled with a a game for as long as I have this one. After awhile though, I thought to myself that I ought to see what else is out there, so off I went sampling Mud's, Moo's, Muck's and Talker's until my head spun, But no where did I find a game as good or as real as this one. So I stuck with it. And these pages are an accumulation of the knowledge I have gained so far about the wonderful world of New Moon.
