IN THE TENNESSEE MOUNTAINS

I chose two stories from this collection of eight local
color short stories: "Drifting Down Lost Creek" and "The Dancin' Party at Harrison's Cove." "Drifting Down Lost Creek" is about a girl who saves her love from being wrongly accused. "The Dancin' Party at Harrison's Cove" features fiddles, fights, and "scandalous" dancing in the mountains of East Tennessee. |
