Hannah Park Smith          Mrs. Samuel Smith, of this city died Sunday morning, July 20th, and the funeral services occurred Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. T. Gruwell. Her maiden name was Hannah Park and she was born in Pateley Bridge, Yorkshire, England Feb. 9th 1835. She was married to Samuel Smith in 1863, and came to America in 1870. Six children were born to them, all of whom are living, and were present at her funeral. Her husband died in 1892. Her children are Mrs. E. E. Day, Thomas Smith, Mrs. Geo. Schneider, Richard Smith, and Mrs. Floyd Martin, all of this city, and Mrs. Huntington, of St. Paul, Minn. She has been a resident of this locality for 31 years, and was therefore well known to the people. She was a member of the church of England, and when she was told that death was probably near she said: "If it is the Lord's will, I am ready to go." She was a good mother and has gone to her reward.
