In warfare you need to have one of three things to have a chance of victory: Strength, Smarts or Sheer Numbers. Without these, there is little to no chance of winning... Unless your name happens to be Justy Ueki Tylor that is. For Captain Tylor, the most irresponsible man in space, has that one elusive quality that can guaranteee victory even in the absence of all else - Luck. And boy does he have it in abundance! What can I say? This is one of the best shows I've seen, anime or not, bar none. Humor of both the witty and slapstick kind, a tight, well-paced plot, loveable characters and the absolutely best ending I have ever seen in any series (Yes, I'm looking at you Evangelion ^_^). If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and get a copy right now - you won't regret it.
Much to my chagrin however, I always come to these classics of animation
when their popularity seems to be waning. I was lucky in the case of Evangelion,
which still has a dedicated fan base, but Tylor seems to have very little
presence on the Web. I've compiled a list of some of the better ones in
the links section below, but I also decided to set aside a small segment
of my site to promoting this truly underrated masterpiece. If antone else
