In August 2002, the National Depressive and Manic Depressive Association changed its name to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. Accordingly, our local chapter changed its name from Tri-County DMDA to Akron Area DBSA. Our information is now included on the web site for Akron General Medical Center, who hosts our support groups at its facilities.
