Hi folks.
First of all,
I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read this. I imagine your son or daughter has told you about this, and
most likely you've had a few concerns about their well being. As a father of four children and uncle to 18 nieces and nephews, I
fully understand how you are feeling right now.
As odd as I
know this is going to sound, I'd also like to congratulate you. Your child trusts and loves you enough to share how they feel,
and that's great! They want you to know that they are okay, and that the future isn't bad for them. This means your a great
parent, so congrats!
Let's start
with the basics. Most Satanists are not anti-Christian, anti-Semitist, or anti-anything really. We don't hate anyone in particular
and don't commit acts of violence or hate crimes. There's no animal or human sacrifices *ever* and the stuff your preacher
might say or you may hear on television is garbage.
You came here
because you’re smart enough to trust your kid. You know that you don't go to the dentist to get brain surgery and you
don't go to a proctologist to get psychotherapy. This also means you don't go to a Christian, Muslim, Bahai, or Jew to get
info on Satanism. You know well enough to get the information from the source, not some person’s opinion who wouldn't
know a thing. So again, congratulations.
What you need
to know is your child wants to be himself or herself. They want to discover who they are, and on their own terms. The kid
who handed you this wants to be happy, healthy, independent, and is already intelligent enough to know that if 98% of Americans
are Christian and going to die broke, it's time to consider the options. No offense of course, but I’d rather be honest
with you.
You see, your
offspring feels that they aren't getting what they need from their church, and that's okay. Really, my daughter wants to be
a Bahai and my youngest son thinks Jesus is sooo cool, and I don't worry about them at all. You needn't worry about your baby
either.
What you need
to worry about is pastors, priests, and imams who will try to create a division between you and your kid. You need to worry
about TV doing this to. We should worry together about our children’s' friends, and about sex and drugs ruining their
future.
As the head
of Our Church, I want to comfort you. It's up to me to tell you that your kid won’t be emotionally, physically
or sexually abuse here. My job is to help them be the healthiest, smartest, happiest person I can. Our church won't try to
take your kids heart away from home, or turn them against anyone. Hell, we won't even try to make them grow up really,
they do that too darn quickly on their own.
Keep in your
mind and heart that your child is an individual. They love you, but need to make their own decisions. As for us, we’ll
be there to help you and them get the most from life.
