was on TV in Jullie's show - 11:30 PM over
Channel 2.
It was a taped show at the Zucchini Grill and Vinotek.
Pops was the main guest along with her good pals Princess
Punzalan
and Liezl Martinez. Pops wore a very sexy and revealing outfit - a black
spaghetti-strapped blouse bare-back over a black pant plus with several
strands of trendy black beads plus a diamond necklace. She looked so
pretty
and very stunning in that outfit. They were asked to give advices on 5
sets of women with different situations. And they were also interviewed
why they clicked and stuck together.

She talks about
the forthcoming event--and more!
This is your first big concert after a long time. When was
the last?
It was ''Shine'' in 1997, at the same venue, the Ultra.
This is my comeback
after three years.
But you used to stage a major concert annually…
I know. I lay low, but I wasn't totally idle. I submerged
myself in work.
When you are burdened with problems, work can be an effective therapy.
I realized that I have never tried performing in smaller venues, and I was
able to do that. I hope to be able to perform at The Captain's Bar again.
You also did records and films-to divert yourself from
your personal
problems?
I never run away from problems. But being busy made it
easy for me to cope.
The offer to record and appear in a movie came at a time when I was
sorting
out my personal life. They arrive in the midst of a marital crisis.
Good offers
I guess show business as is like that--you'll never know
when producers
would be interested in your services. I accepted both because they were
good
offers.
Are you doing a new movie now?
''We are about to start ''Gusto Kong Lumigaya,'' a
suspense drama where I
will have four leading mean again.''
Looking back, is there anything you regret?
Nothing. I have two wonderful sons and if only for this
blessing, it's all
been worth it.
With no father figure to guide them, it must be heard
raising them all by
yourself?
Martin is still a good father to his two sons. He can see
them anytime he
wants to.
Marriage

How did you
explain to your sons that your marriage has crumbled?
I sat down with them and told my version, and the changes
that would happen
afterwards. I told them I knew exactly what they felt.
Do you still feel the pain of that traumatic experience?
Time heals. I have learned to accept everything and I
blame no one. I had a
long talk with Martin and disposed of whatever anger and negative feelings
I
nursed.
Should you fall in love again, would you be careful in
using your mind and
not your heart?
Falling in love is like hearing bells, and I still want to
hear them what it
happens again. I will still follow the dictates of my heart for it is the
only way I know I will be happy.
( I think I can hear those bells right now Pops! hehe...)

You are about to
regain the title ''Concert Queen,'' which some people now
attribute to Regine Velasquez. Does that make you feel insecure?
I have done just about everything, so what else is there
to prove? Titles
are no big deal for me, and Regine is a good friend. With ''Shindig'' I'm
out to show the world what I have done for the past 17 years, plus major
developments in the concert scene.
