Tastes Like Popeye's

Red Beans and Rice

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 c Uncle Ben's long Grain Rice - cooked (enough rice to yield 1 c cooked)
2 - 1lb cans Red chili beans in chili - gravy
1 teaspoon Chili powder
1/4 teaspoon Cumin
dash Garlic
Chili Seasoning Mix

Preparation:

In saucepan heat beans without letting it boil and stir in chili powder, cumin and garlic.
When piping hot, spoon chili mixture into 6 small dishes, adding a few tb of hot, cooked rice to each serving.
Season with Chili Seasoning Mix, if desired.
