Fish Fry


1. Fish - 500 grams
2. Chilli powder : 1 tablespoon
3. Turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
4. cornflour(optional) : 1 tablespoon
5. Salt : to taste
6. Oil : for frying

Method of Preparation:

Cut, clean and wash the fish. Mix together chilli powder, turmeric powder, cornflour and salt. Apply the mixture on the fish pieces. Heat oil in a frying pan. When the oil becomes hot, bring the flame to medium. Add the fish pieces one by one. Fry the fish pieces till golden /crisp . With a spatula, turn the fish pieces and fry both sides of the fish till crisp. When both sides of the fish pieces become crisp, drain the excess oil and take out from the frying pan and serve hot..
