The Eight Doctors	Novel by Terrance Dicks	Sam	The Eighth Doctor regains his memory by visiting his past selves. First appearance of Samantha Jones. Features appearances by Susan, Ian, Barbara, Jo, the Brigadier, Romana, Tegan and Turlough. In the various visits to past adventures, the story features the Sontarans, Vampires, the Master, the Raston Warrior Robot, President Flavia, Castellan Spandrell, Coordinator Engin and the Valeyard. Features Gallifrey.
Bounty	Short Story / Audio by Peter Anghelides	Sam	Set very soon after Sam joins the Doctor.
The Dying Days	New Adventure by Lance Parkin	Benny The Brigadier	Between Bounty and the events of Vampire Science, the Doctor drops Sam off at a Greenpeace rally. Whilst she is there, the Doctor travels in the TARDIS alone. Sam has the suspicion that, in his personal timeline, he may have been away for up to three years. It is in this period that he briefly reunites with Bernice Summerfield. Features the Ice Warriors.
Shada	Webcast/Audio adapted from a story by Douglas Adams.	Romana K9 (Mark II)	The Doctor returns to Gallifrey and briefly reunites with Romana and K9 (Mark II) to solve the paradox of Shada, an adventure he remembers having, but also doesn’t remember having (referring to the cancelled TV story, Shada, from Season 17, starring Tom Baker). Features Gallifrey.
Model Train Set	Short Story / Audio by Jonathan Blum		The Doctor is alone. Released as a short story and also on audio cassette, read by Sophie Aldred.
Dreadnought	Comic Strip by Gary Russell	Stacy	First appearance of Stacy Townsend. Features the Cybermen.
