When the chaps in the kennels sets out on the spree
And a bob's worth o' "flickers," I watches 'em go
With a smile, for there's eager ears list'nin I know_
Just Danny an' Duster an' Bunty_ for me.

At the crack of the kennel-door_ what do I see?
Three black noses that snuffle an' work wi' delight:
We've our own kind of spree all fixed up for tonight,
'Ave Danny an' Buster an' Bunty_an' me.

When I'm through wi' me work an' I,ve finished me tea
I sets out for the mealhouse, the lamp in me 'and,
For a spot where them rats know the lie o' the land,
Just Danny an' Duster an' Bunty_an' me.

When I've 'ung up me lamp an' it's easy to see,
I just shifts a few meal-bags an' out pops a rat...
There's a scuffle an' worry_an' that's about that !
For Danny an' Duster an' Bunty _an' me.

Our next little jaunt's even better, maybe,
For there's rats by the score where the stack o' bones lies,
But them dogs knows the job an' we kills 'em like flies,
Does Danny an' Duster an' Bunty_an' me.

When the fellows comes 'ome an' the language is free,
About drinkin' an' girls_an' o' things o' that sort,
I can't say i envies 'em that kind o' sport_
An' Danny an' Duster an' Bunty agree !
