Valley Springs, Calaveras County, California, USA -  population 700, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  First I will take you for a quick tour of town, the local scenery and things to do if you come to visit.  You can find a map of the county and local area by going here.

 


Valley Springs is just one of the historical towns found in the Mother Lode, (see marker to the right) so named for the gold rush of 1849
