The Parent Action Package is contained in the chapter for parents interested in getting the Gifts Project started in their schools. It contains suggestions for presenting the program to the appropriate entities of the school. INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR PARENTS IS CONTAINED IN THE BOOK.

The CHAPTER contains the following materials:

• The First Contact--Ideas are shared concerning making contact with the school.

• List of Important Ideas to Share--Basic ideas of the program are listed. This list of ideas will also provide instruction on how to do the Gifts Project; therefore, parents can begin the Gifts Project at home.

• Student-Parent-Teacher Worksheet--The worksheet used by the three people listed are shared with the student. The student then selects from the list the gift(s).

• Alphabetical Listing of Possible Gifts--Some names for identifying gifts are listed, but the listing is not all inclusive.

Of course, Carroll Killingsworth and I will be available to answer questions, give advice, and listen to your experiences. We look forward to the sharing times.
