| Make a copy of your original image. |

Now make it grayscale by choosing Colors/Grayscale,
then increase the color back to 16 million by choosing Colors/Increase Color Depth/16
million. |

Next paste the original image as a new layer over the gray one. |
Use the Lasso tool and select the area you want accented by color.
Invert the selection, Selection/Invert. Then click delete. Deselect, save, and you are
done. |
