Was It A Success?

You've planned, you've shopped, you've cooked, you've served, and now you are cleaning up. It is now time for the big question. Was the event a success?
Answer the following questions and rate yourself by clicking on the selection list and selecting the answer that best describes your work.
1. Was the meal served on time?
2. Was there enough food?
3. Was the food eaten or left on the plate?
4. Did you Stay Within Budget ?
5. Did the Guests Have a Good Time?
6. Were You Satisfied?
7. Was the Hostess Satisfied?
8.Were There Many Mistakes? (there are always a few, but how many?)
9. Were You Satisfied as to the Safety of the Food?
10. Did You Give it Your All?
Look back over your answers. Are you happy with them? Perhaps you did not score the best for each question, but the event might have been a success anyway. Sometimes, the guests are in a very forgiving mood. Sometimes, a late meal is all right because everybody is having a good time. Use these questions to reflect on the event. Think about what you might do different next time. Think about what really went well, and why it did. Evaluate, so you can do better next time.
Now look at your score below. Click on the total button to see what it is. The higher the score is the less happy you should be with the event. A score of "0" means you had a great event. A score of "30" means that you endured the worst event ever to happen. Cheer up, it can only get better.
