Later this year, Eric Gray and Bill Jermyn are leaving FTC for better lives in UK.

Eric is to study to become a Maths Teacher, and Bill is studying to keep Joyce happy! They are the 38^th and 39^th people to leave the FTC. (Check out the Escapees page).

After being here twelve years, Eric says “Why can’t the company realise my villa is my home! That’s why I’m leaving!” He is to study at University College Chichester for a combined Teaching and Mathematics qualification.

Eric joined the FTC to replace Roger Mills in March 1988. But his own replacement

arrived just over a year later in the shape of Chris Jones. This is the longest handover in the history of British Aerospace. He finally leaves this August. Good luck Eric and all the best!

Bill arrived here in November 1989, and also leaves this August like Eric. He says “I just want to enjoy life with my family.” He says he has some jobs to do around the house, I wonder if he’ll use those Chinese tiles we’ve seen him playing with at work! After eleven years the “Morgan” still evades him. Good luck to Bill and Joyce from the lads.

Some are already aware that the FTC has under gone a name change, however we diehards will still use the old and familiar FTC.
