Welcome to the Hobie Fleet 45 website! We are located on the east coast of Central Florida in Brevard County. We are an "equal opportunity" fleet (all brands welcome) and invite all catamaran sailors to come sail with us if you're in the area. The purpose of this site is to provide up-to-date information on events of interest to catamaran sailors, to present the Fleet 45 sailing/racing schedule, and to display a lot of sailing pictures!

The fleet meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm. We alternate meeting locations between the Cocoa Beach Yacht Club and a members home (email if you need directions). CBYC is located 910 Mullet Road in Port Canaveral. They serve dinners and have a bar with good beer prices.

Directions to CBYC

Take 528 East (Beeline) to the beach. Turn into the main entrance to
Port Canaveral. Turn left on to Port Road. Take the first left on to
Mullet Road. Go 2/3 of the way down the road and CBYC will be on the
right (910 Mullet Road)

Second Saturday of the Month Fun Sail

The Next Date is September 8th.
Fleet 45 has decided to host a fun sail at Kelly Park in Merritt Island on the second Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcome to come out and sail around, pick up some tips, introduce friends to sailing, try another boat, and have an all around good time.

The Next Event

The next event will be Fleet Race #6 at Kelly Park on Sunday, September 16th. This will most likely be 3-4 buoy races. Skipper's meeting at 11:30am and white flag around noon.
