TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
RE: Daniel Pyron L.P.N.

Daniel Pyron, L.P.N. has been employed by Anchor Hospital since April 16, 1990. He has been under my supervision since October of 1991. He has been a dependable, caring individual.

Due to recent downsizing, Daniel's position has been eliminated. He has been a valuable member of the Nursing Team and is capable of taking charge of the nursing unit in the absence of the R.N.

I recommend Daniel for a position where his skill, knowledge, and expertise may be utilized to the fullest.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
Susan K. Anderson, R.N.
Director, Nursing Services

Some Possibilities:

But I am open to other challenges, new tasks and skills.
  1. Health care related information management. To work with an Internet or software firm which provides support services or education to health care businesses or educational materials to the general public.
  2. Nurse supervisor position. Management is the art of making sure that those who are actually producing the companies product or service have the environment and supplies they need to do their jobs.
  3. Client Education/ Wellness Education. To consult with clients so they learn about their disease or disorder, to promote health, to help others be healthier at less cost (to themselves and society).
  4. Addiction nursing. To coordinate, or implement, a secular treatment program for those whom 12-step programs are inappropriate (a minimum of 10% of the treatment population). Elements from SOS, Rational Recovery, and Women for Sobriety could be used. A very low probability option considering the state of addiction care at this time.
